France Info is a French public news radio station created on by Roland Faure and Jérôme Bellay , its first director until 1989. It is part of the Radio France group .

France Info Diffusion 

France Info uses several free broadcast networks to transmit its programs in metropolitan France and on a global scale: FM , satellite, Internet ( Internet radio station ), iTunes Store , Google Play .

France info uses a network of FM transmitters spread across the entire territory. The station broadcasts between 103 MHz and 107 MHz, the frequency mainly used is 105.5 MHz. It is also broadcast live in all overseas departments and communities on the second overseas FM network La re .

The radio's website allows you to listen to live programs and listen to podcasts . France Info is also available on most commercially available internet radio stations , in streaming . Seven programs are available for free on the Apple website, to listen to on iPod , iPad , iPhone , Apple Watch and Mac . These programs are also available on sites like TuneIn .

France Info is a French news television channel (whose logo is stylized as franceinfo) created onwhich is part of the France Télévisions group . France Info remains the name of the continuous news radio published by Radio France, but becomes that of the television channel created by France Télévisions as well as the joint news site that the two companies are setting up. The radio will publish the content of the banners and the title reminders four times per hour on the television channel, France Info thus becomes a global public information offer bringing together radio and television [ 26 ] .

Between September 2002 and January 2016, the station used the TDF B medium wave network , previously used by France Culture and Radio Bleue .
